Good to know
- Port Everglades has security checkpoints at every entrance. Everyone 18 or older in the car, drivers included, must show a government-issued photo ID, so have yours ready.
- Two of the four checkpoints keep shorter hours. For very early arrivals, use the 24-hour entrance at Eller Drive from I-595.
- FLL is under 2 miles from the port, about 10 minutes by car. The port still suggests allowing 45 minutes to an hour between landing and check-in.
- Princess is the only line we found with its own shuttle from the Brightline Fort Lauderdale station, on select sail dates.
