Embark Day

Tampa cruise parking: every option and what it costs

The port's own parking costs $19 a night plus an $11.99 fee, so $144.99 for a 7-night cruise, and has to be prepaid online before the day you sail. Terminals 2 and 3 share the Channelside garage across the street; Terminal 6 has its own lot. Valet at the terminal is $20 more.

Private lots along Channelside Drive undercut the port by a lot. 241 Car Services shuttles to every terminal for $68 a week, Rightway's lot for $102, and 717 Parking's lots a short walk from the terminals start at about $48. Pick your terminal below to see what serves it.

Prepay port parking before the day you sail

The port sells parking online by sailing and stops selling on cruise day. Valet sells out regularly, and oversized valet often does too. RVs aren't allowed in port parking at all, so look at the private lots if you're driving one.

Drop bags at the terminal first

For the walk-to lots and the streetcar park-and-ride, drop your bags and passengers at the terminal's Drop-off & Valet loop, then park. Walking half a mile with luggage in Tampa heat is no fun.

    Common questions

How much is cruise parking at Port Tampa Bay?

$19 per night plus an $11.99 per-ticket fee when you prepay on the port's site, so $144.99 for a 7-night sailing. Valet at the terminal is $20 more. The same price applies at every terminal and cruise line.

Can I pay for Tampa cruise parking when I arrive?

The port doesn't sell prepaid parking on the day of the cruise and doesn't publish a drive-up rate. Book online ahead, or use a private lot that takes reservations up to the last minute.

What is the cheapest cruise parking in Tampa?

717 Parking's Channelside lot was $48 for a December week on SpotHero, a short walk from Terminal 6. With a free shuttle, 241 Car Services was $68 on Way.com. Both are less than half the port's price.

Where do RVs park for a Tampa cruise?

Not at the port: its garage and lots don't take RVs, and vehicles over 7 feet tall or 18 feet long must use oversized valet, which often sells out. 717 Parking sells oversized passes at some of its lots.
