New Orleans cruise parking: every option and what it costs
The port's two garages charge the same package rates: $180 for 7 days, $135 for 5 and $120 for 4, or a few dollars more prepaid online. Carnival passengers park on top of the Erato Street terminal; Royal Caribbean and Norwegian passengers park at 100 Poydras Street and take a shuttle. Both open at 9 a.m.
The Fulton Garage, a block from the riverfront, runs its own free shuttle and was $119 for a 7-night November sailing. Several lots a 10-minute walk away sell cruise rates on SpotHero and Way.com for $135 to $159.

Watch the clearance at 100 Poydras
The garage for Julia Street sailings has only 6 ft 6 in of clearance. If you drive a van or an SUV with a roof box, call LAZ Parking first, or use the Erato Street garage or a private lot.
Book the cruise rate, not regular parking
Downtown garages charge far more as ordinary parking than as cruise parking. The 100 Poydras Garage was $187 through the port's cruise booking but $359 or more on SpotHero and ParkWhiz for the same week.
