Hotels near the New Orleans cruise port
Several big hotels are a walk from the terminals: the Hilton Riverside connects to them indoors through the Riverwalk mall, and the Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn and Marriott on Convention Center Boulevard are about a third of a mile away. Of those, only the Hampton Inn runs a free port shuttle.
To leave your car for the cruise, the West Bank hotels in Marrero and Harvey sell park-and-cruise packages with a ride to the terminal, about 15 minutes away. Downtown hotels mostly charge $50 to $60 a day for valet.
