Things to do in Miami

PortMiami, on Dodge Island across the bay from downtown, is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world. It welcomed its 10 millionth passenger of the year in September 2026, a record. Nine terminals are working, each run by a different cruise line or group of lines, so the first thing to know is your terminal.

Big changes are coming in 2027. Hero of the Seas replaces Icon of the Seas in August, Carnival Venezia arrives in May, Norwegian Aura in June, and Margaritaville at Sea starts in January. A rebuilt Terminal G for Royal Caribbean is due in late 2027.
